Darin Kerby

PRESIDENT

Graduate of UCLA in Theater Arts, Darin began his career producing Documentaries and Commercials with such artists as Ice Cube, Cypress Hill, and Ice-T at Rock Solid Post in the early 90s. Darin’s love for Post Production coincided with the Avid revolution. He was hooked on this new technology and founded Catalyst Post Services, a rental company, providing equipment and technical support to numerous Television Series and Feature Films.

Today, Darin has focused his energies building two, new state-of-the-art facilities in Burbank and Studio City, providing some 60 edit bays, screening rooms, as well as comprehensive workflow and support services.

Darin recently took on the most important challenge of his life with his wife Alexandra --the birth of their first child, Isabelle. Love you little Elle!

Patrick Reber

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Patrick joined Catalyst in March of 2006 after working as an ACSR technician with Wexler and Post engineering. In addition to extensive Post Production and Avid training, he has broad experience in sales, management and supervision.

Patrick began his technical career by building super servers with Intel, and honed his management style serving our country in the United States Navy.

Patrick has become an integral part of the Catalyst family, helping to create the environment in which clients and staff can work creatively and efficiently.

Neil Weiner

SALES AND OPERATIONS, STUDIO CITY

Neil, a graduate of the USC School of Journalism, began his career as an NBC Page, where he was introduced to the Post Production process. Neil saw his calling and never looked back. During the last 30 years, Neil has been an online editor, Post Supervisor & AP.

He has worked on many of the sitcoms and series that have been part of our TV and film history. With a wealth of practical experience, Neil looks forward to working with you on your next project.

Chris Bolm

DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY

Chris has been working in the entertainment industry since he was 17. After getting his feet wet at Complete Post, he found his true specialization working with Avid nonlinear products. Chris has been an Avid Technician since 2002 and has been working with Catalyst since 2007. In that time, he has broadened his horizons by becoming well versed in many areas of the company. Chris manages the invoice system, the VoIP telephone system, and takes care of the many IT requests at both Catalyst locations.

In his free time, Chris enjoys playing the drums, running, hiking, movies, and being an avid gamer.
